Benefits

Emergency Call Station
The Call Station requires external AC power to operate.  The internal DC power supply enables the batteries to be continuously charged, with a few exceptions e.g. voltage, current limitation.  The Call Station can be powered from Leaky Feeder cable.  During a power outage, the Call Station turns to DC backup mode; once power is restored, the batteries will slowly recharge until fully restored.
